The Revenue Department (RD) urges the public to avoid the following scams
Currently certain dishonest and unscrupulous groups are using the name of the Revenue Department to send notices to entrepreneurs, companies and shops
- to request donations to spare the lives of cows and cattle belonging to poor farmers in various provinces. - to sell commemorative books and donate proceeds in order to commemorate the 80th birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King - In this scam the public is requested to transfer money into bank accounts of certain persons. It is important to note that we never distribute any notice requesting donation from the public for the above instances. We urge entrepreneurs, businessmen and taxpayers to be wary of these scams. You may report any suspected scam activity to
1. RD Call Center at 0-2272-8000. 2. Any Area Revenue Office or Area Revenue Branch Office.
We ask for your cooperation with your local Area Revenue Office to report to police for immediate legal action. You can be assured that the RD will undertake litigation action against these dishonest groups.
